The Omana residence is a grand home that sits on 3108 square metres of land in central Auckland. Our client, having lived in the home for 5 yrs was looking to 'complete' a number of spaces that they felt were not being used due to the size of the rooms and not quite having the furniture to suit. The formal front lounge was a large room that was not used often but is a key focal point when entering the home. The kitchen living area is a lovely light-filled space requiring furniture that fits with the style of the home and new kitchen. The large furnished dining room required objects of interest to fit the bay window and provide texture and layers to the room. And finally the master bedroom was in need of interior elements that would create a space to relax and retreat to. We approached the project as a whole, to honour the architecture of the home and bring together a colour palette and furnishing that would create intimacy, connect the spaces and reflect our clients love for colour and texture.
