Eclipse Accounting are a small centrally based Accountancy firm looking to expand and move into a space that transcended the typical office environment. The Textile Centre, which was being refurbished to bring it back to its former glory with exposed original brick and wooden flooring, provided the perfect environment to create this new space. The brief was to be bold, create non-traditional yet functional spaces that met their requirements for privacy and everyday working enjoyment. We repositioned the kitchen to the back of the office and incorporated a break-out zone in the prime space under the large windows. Employee well-being and enjoyment was instrumental to this decision. The meeting room was designed as a 'room within a room'. The highlight for us in this space is the fully green tiled kitchen island and table that creates the sense of a cafe in the office.
